Operations Manager

An exciting position has opened up at c*funds. We are currently seeking an Operations Manager to
support our team!
c*funds is a boutique fund placement agency in the heart of Amsterdam (HQ). We have recently
expanded to Singapore and have representation in New York. Boasting a seven-year industry track
record, we specialize in conducting fundraising campaigns for fund managers with target fund sizes
ranging from 100 million EUR to 2 billion EUR. Our focus extends to Venture Capital and Growth funds,
encompassing areas such as climate tech, deep tech, AI, blockchain, health tech, and more, while also
catering to credit, buyout, and hedge funds. Additionally, c*funds operates in secondary markets and
direct deal fundraising. c*funds currently consists of a rock-solid team of 13 international placement
agents. The team was carefully recruited and constitutes a very high level of motivation and appreciation
for the industry and shows aligned interests with our clients to close the deals.
c*funds has an independent advisory operation, it is self-invested and bottom-up developed, and
therefore we can offer the boutique/ hands-on approach in fundraising that fits to the needs of so many
GPs. We transact with 550+ qualified LPs worldwide. The majority of our LPs are Single and Multi-Family
Offices across the globe.

Job Description

  • Screen prospective GP requests for a potential collaboration
  • Coordinate introductory calls between GPs, LPs and team members
  • Manage invoicing and accounts receivable (A/R)
  • Monitor and process outstanding payments
  • Handle travel arrangements and logistics
  • Oversee contracts with clients, employees, and trainees
  • General office management and administration
  • Collaborate with c*funds employees to establish joint track records
  • Coordinate social events for c*funds
  • Create an industry event calendar that includes events employees will attend and help monitor the event budget
  • Assist in recruiting new employees and trainees
  • Facilitate a seamless onboarding experience for both employees and clients

Additional requirements

  • 3-4 years of experience in the same or similar role
  • Located in Amsterdam
  • Native English speaker
  • Available for 40 hours per week
  • Private Equity knowledge is an advantage
