Investor Relations Sr. Associate

c*funds is a boutique fund placement agency in the heart of Amsterdam (HQ) and has a Singapore office as well as New York representation. We have 7 years of industry track record.

We do fundraising campaigns for fund managers with a target fund size from 100m EUR- 2b EUR. With a strong focus on raising Venture Capital and Growth (Climate tech, deep tech, AI, blockchain, health tech, etc.) funds, but also for credit, buyout, or hedge funds. c*funds also operates in the secondary markets and direct deal fundraising. c*funds currently consists of a rock-solid team of 10 international placement agents. The team was carefully recruited and constitutes a very high level of motivation and appreciation for the industry and shows aligned interests with our clients to close the deals.

c*funds has an independent advisory operation, it is self-invested and bottom-up developed, and therefore we can offer the boutique/ hands-on approach in fundraising that fits to the needs of so many GPs. We transact with 550+ qualified LPs worldwide. The majority of our LPs are Single and Multi-Family Offices across the globe.

Job description:

  • Supporting client and fund sales efforts by negotiating and closing new contracts/project for fundraising GPs
  • Account manager of several GPs (Emerging Markets, Impact funds, VCs, buyout and growth funds)
  • Arranging roadshows (investor meetings) on demand in a given city
  • Exploring and building new Investor (LP) Relations for c*funds  and nurturing these relations on a global scale 
  • Represent c*funds and the funds at Private Equity events and take clients to events and organise their investor meetings. 
  • Mentoring investment analysts/trainees and quality assurance about their work;
  • Coordinating PE data research for several GP (General Partner/client) campaigns, such as benchmarking funds, accessing investor bases from different sources, validating data;
  • Work together with c*funds employees to create joint track records/placements as a team 
  • Establish, maintain and update marketing material such as presentations, updates, white papers, Q&A documents and coordinate the distribution/publication
  • Identify additional needs of investors and coordinates with the teams to deliver the required content (examples: benchmarking, performance reporting)

 

Required skills:

  • Native or equivalent English /Preferred: multilingual candidate (German, Spanish, French, Chinese, etc)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an ability to disseminate complex data into investor friendly content
  • Fast & hands-on
  • Excellent Relationship management (client interaction)

  • Has strong project management skills

Additional requirements:

  • Based in the Netherlands (preferably) Amsterdam 
  • Available for 40 hours per week 
  • Hybrid working environment
  • Prior experience in a finance related industry (Corporate Finance, Private Equity, Venture Capital)
  • Interested in private equity/venture capital funds
  • CRM experience (Salesforce and DealCloud) is a plus
  • A strong affinity for research, writing and editing is a plus
