Our Mission

c*funds welcomes newcomers and innovative approaches in private equity! We entered the field with a strong investment track record for scale-ups in Europe in 2017. From the beginning, c*funds has remained completely independent, self-invested, and bootstrapped. Unlike many of our peers, we are not a spin-off of an investment bank.

This means c*funds was built from scratch, without any privileges or silver spoons. We now manage 550 vetted LP (Limited Partners) relationships worldwide, have screened 1,500 GPs globally for fundraising, and have advised and fundraised for over 130 GPs, including VCs, buyouts, hedge funds, and secondaries.This unorthodox starting point has endowed us with exceptional stamina and curiosity. Our team members are driven to find the best investment deals and uphold high business morals.

The extensive experience of the last eight years has taught us that private equity is much more than just track records, returns, and figures. The human components—talent and trust—are key when closing important deals. When we sell an investment ticket, we sell the GP team, not just the term sheet of the fund.We call this “The Human Powder” (vs the dry-powder) and its influence cannot be overestimated. Our mission is to make private equity more accessible and intelligent by focusing on this Human Powder.

We facilitate the traditional private equity atmosphere by blurring the lines between sectors, integrating PE with M&A, and direct deals, with sparks from industries such as art and entertainment. Closing deals often involves hosting engaging events where the atmosphere fosters trust.

We take pride in ‘art-directing’ these events, ensuring the focus is on “the human powder.” We ensure your fundraising campaign meets the new expectations of a crowded market.

The well-selected GP stands on the stage as the focal point of attention, aligned with how Family Offices prefer to receive new offers. Not through cold emails and desperate mass mailing, but through tailored, in-person meetings with our local FOs in cities such as Helsinki, Oslo, Vienna, Amsterdam, London, Singapore, Hong Kong, Vilnius, Prague, Geneva, and Saudi Arabia.

  • We provide around-the-clock, modern fundraising services to a select group of GPs, prioritizing respect for LPs.
  • We are translators between LPs and GPs – we do the “social validation” on the GP teams for LPs to check how well achieved they are and if there is a “spirit” behind the high DPIs. A “spirit” that you would like to have for 5-10 years long.
  • c*funds brings out a social validation on GPs for our LPs which is honest and based on longstanding market experience
